What you need

• Windows 10 or 11
• Counter-Strike 2 in Fullscreen Windowed
• A Steam account

Everyone in the party needs the free app. Only the host needs CRUNKS Pro.

Install on Windows

1. Run the installer

   Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". The beta installer isn't code-signed yet: click More info, then Run anyway.

2. Restart CS2 once

   CRUNKS adds one Game State Integration config file to CS2's cfg folder. CS2 reads it on the next start.

3. Set Fullscreen Windowed

   In CS2: Settings → Video → Display Mode → Fullscreen Windowed. The overlay can't sit on top of exclusive fullscreen.

4. Sign in through Steam

   It's Steam's own login page. We only get your public Steam ID and display name.

5. Start or join a party

   The host picks the rules and shares the party code. Friends type it in.

6. Queue up

   Play as usual. The overlay counts every round.

Updates install from inside the app.

Overlay not showing?

• Check that CS2 is in Fullscreen Windowed.
• Restart CS2 once after installing CRUNKS.

FACEIT and tournaments

Close CRUNKS before FACEIT or tournament matches. CRUNKS uses CS2's Game State Integration and doesn't touch game memory or game files, but Valve doesn't endorse third-party apps, so no app can promise zero risk.
